At its semi-annual meeting held on Aug. 26, the Bluebonnet Regents Council of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (BBRC) approved the request of Sherry Herbert to cover the meal costs for 15 Giddings State School football players as they travel. The BBRC donated $300 to Giddings State School, part of the Texas Juvenile Justice System. These donations were in honor of Constitution Week and Veteran’s Day by the seven area chapters that make up the Bluebonnet Regents Council.
