Responsibilities:

Overview: An IDEMIA Graphics and Printing Engineer’s main responsibility is to validate and provide any technical solutions, (new processes and/or raw materials, new machines and/or technology, technical support), in accordance with needs from Manufacturing sites or Product Development.

The Graphics and Printing Engineer works closely with the New Product Introduction team (NPI), personalization team and IDEMIA Manufacturing Engineers in your area.

Responsibilities:

Test plan to qualify new inks and structures.

IDEMIA’s sites are deploying new inks, structures and processes

IDEMIA printer performance can be improved by benchmarking and ensuring technical exchanges with suppliers.

Coordinate graphic and printing projects, with all key stakeholders involved. Ensure an industrial project review is conducted to ensure that the solution fully meets industrial expectations

To drive the schedule, issues & actions, internal/external communication

Support for all IDEMIA manufacturing facilities in technical issues, production ramp-ups and sharing best practice

Work instruction to be provided in coordination with the Engineering/Methods team at the concerned site

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (B. S. ) with an emphasis on Printing/Graphics from a four year college or university

Solid understanding of engineering principles, including the development, qualification and implementation of new production processes in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.

Experience with the introduction, qualification, and development of new products.
