Although I didn’t expect this printer to be the best Black Friday printer deal, it was. Amazon’s Niimbot D11 label printer is the most popular this black Friday. However, it is not one that you would consider printing a document or a photograph with. However, three of Amazon’s top five printers are the Niimbot D11 label makers. This is a good indicator of how popular these cute, tiny printing machines are.
The printer comes with a 1200mAh lithium battery that can be charged for up to 4 hours of printing, and 160 pieces of label tape measuring 12x40mm. Bluetooth can be used to operate the printer from iOS and Android via the Niimbot App. It should be compatible with a desktop computer (Mac or Windows), although we haven’t tested it yet.
You don’t have to purchase ink and toner. There’s no additional running cost other than the cost for the labels. The sticker options are nearly limitless.
Keep in mind that the label maker can only print monochrome. While you can print on a colorful label or one with funky designs, the only option is to print in black (not grey).
